The spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) is the most serious global health threat in decades. So much has changed over the past several weeks and especially in the last few days. We constantly monitor the situation. Our top priority is the health and safety of our students, applicants, partners, colleagues and the greater community. Having this in mind, we acted fast. These are the measures that we took.
At Telerik Academy, our number one goal is to power companies with master junior talent and to prepare our students to land their first jobs in IT. In the last decade, we’ve been working hard to fulfill our mission – connecting Bulgarian talent, organizations and training resources to advance personal development, professional careers and grow the IT ecosystem. We’ve pioneered IT career jumpstart programs and launched free private trainings for kids, paving the way for other tech-ed organizations.
In June we launched the first-ever complete UX/UI Design program in Bulgaria. 37 professionals successfully graduated from it, mastering how to design digital experiences that put users front and center.

The position of COO is new and follows the development of Telerik Academy after its separation as an independent company in 2017. Dimitar will work to optimize processes and strategic planning about the need for retraining and upgrading skills in Bulgaria and globally.
Steven Tsvetkov, Learning Experience Design Manager at Telerik Academy: ChatGPT, as well as other similar technologies, would have a significant impact not only on training in the IT sector but also on the entire education sector.
