The spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) is the most serious global health threat in decades. So much has changed over the past several weeks and especially in the last few days. We constantly monitor the situation. Our top priority is the health and safety of our students, applicants, partners, colleagues and the greater community. Having this in mind, we acted fast. These are the measures that we took.
At Telerik Academy, our number one goal is to power companies with master junior talent and to prepare our students to land their first jobs in IT. We do it by teaching them all the necessary technical skills and transforming them into lifelong learners who are open to feedback and always strive to improve.
We're thrilled Telerik Academy won the grand prize among all categories and competing against 70+ companies across different industries – “Best Company of 2020”. We also took home yet another prize – “Best Company of 2020 in the Education Category”.
2019 was a big year for Telerik Academy. We’ve launched several brand-new programs, moved to an amazing building of our own, grew the team with 33% and greatly expanded Telerik Academy School’s training centers around the country.
Alexandra Mechkova, our CEO shares that the courses should not be seen as a substitute but rather as a supplement to university education: "While at university one can go deep into theory, we add practice, work in a real environment, direct connection with employers, development of key personal and communication skills. Iskra Lumbeva, developer at OfficeRnD and one of our Alpha graduates: I decided to apply to Telerik Academy Alpha to find out if programming is my career path. I met incredible people there and realized that this is the environment where I want to spend my time, surrounded by intelligent people who want to develop themselves and learn new things every day.
Telerik Academy announced the admissions for the new edition of Alpha C# - the 6-month program anyone can join to start an IT career regardless of their experience and programming knowledge. Admission is open until February 1, 2023, and no previous coding experience is necessary - it is essential for applicants to be motivated and able to commit to learning.
Telerik Academy offers its employees a mental and physical health program. At the end of 2021, the overall program was rated by employees at 4.8 out of 5. Based on their performance, employees also have the opportunity to acquire shares in the company and an annual bonus based on their performance.
Daniel Rankov is a CEO and Chief Cloud Officer at Several Clouds, AWS Community Hero, and the lead trainer of the Telerik Academy Upskill DevOps program. For him, DevOps is a collaboration towards a common goal, and the role of a DevOps engineer is complex and related to automation, Pipelines, CI/CD and cloud technologies.
