Read the story2019 was a big year for Telerik Academy. We’ve launched several brand-new programs, moved to an amazing building of our own, grew the team with 33% and greatly expanded Telerik Academy School’s training centers around the country.
Today we meet Pavel who shares his experience with the Academy, which helped him find his dream job as a Software Developer and transform his life. Prior to joining the program, Pavel had neither coding education, nor experience in the field.
Kiril eagerly shares Telerik Academy helped him gain extensive tech knowledge and hands-on experience. Also, he emphasizes on the importance of building powerful relationships with Telerik Academy’s partnering companies. Last but not least, Kiril highly appreciates the interview preparation trainings, which were included in the program.
In the last decade, we’ve been working hard to fulfill our mission – connecting Bulgarian talent, organizations and training resources to advance personal development, professional careers and grow the IT ecosystem. We’ve pioneered IT career jumpstart programs and launched free private trainings for kids, paving the way for other tech-ed organizations.
In June we launched the first-ever complete UX/UI Design program in Bulgaria. 37 professionals successfully graduated from it, mastering how to design digital experiences that put users front and center.
Pavel attended the Technical University in Sofia for two years. Following his interests, he dropped from university and joined the first Telerik Academy Alpha cohort. Shortly after completing the program, Pavel jumpstarted his IT career at Grafixoft.

In the first part of the show, Alexandra Mechkova, CEO of Telerik Academy, shared the specifics of the marketing of software companies. They also told about the history of the most successful Bulgarian software company "Telerik", from which the "Telerik Academy" was later created, which offers training in the IT sector for adults.

15 companies from our country participated in one of Europe's most significant events for the technology and digitization sector - Web Summit 2022, in Lisbon, Portugal. At the event, Minister of Innovation and Growth Alexander Pulev met with entrepreneurs, some of whom were from Telerik Academy.
