More than 30% of all ICT specialists in Bulgaria are women, according to Eurostat. This is the story of two of them - Maria and Iskra. They changed their careers and joined the IT industry with the help of Telerik Academy. “For the last 10 years, there is a clear upward trend for more women joining and graduating our Academy,” shared our CEO Alexandra Mechkova for BTV.

Almost all of Telerik Academy graduates (98%) successfully start a career in the IT industry. More than half of them (58%) receive remunerations higher than the ones in the software industry and for 80% their salaries are higher than the average for the country.
97% of the Telerik Academy Alpha graduates today live and work in Bulgaria. Nearly 70% start working in IT in less than 2 months from their studies’ end, followed soon after by the rest. Almost all are very happy with their current living standard.
