Borislav Borisov has obtained a Master’s degree in International Project Management and Financial Management. After graduation, he worked as a Senior Bank Officer and had plenty of opportunities to further advance his career. Yet, Borislav felt that this was not his true calling.

2019 was a big year for Telerik Academy. We’ve launched several brand-new programs, moved to an amazing building of our own, grew the team with 33% and greatly expanded Telerik Academy School’s training centers around the country.
Today we meet Pavel who shares his experience with the Academy, which helped him find his dream job as a Software Developer and transform his life. Prior to joining the program, Pavel had neither coding education, nor experience in the field.

Last but not least, Kiril highly appreciates the interview preparation trainings, which were included in the program.
In Bulgaria, where demand for qualified IT specialists is now outstripping the available supply, Telerik promotes itself as the only company in the country that offers free training courses. In 2009, it set up an academy for software engineers. So far 510 have enrolled — though not all stay the course — and the annual intake is rising. This year about 1,000 started the program, of whom Telerik plans to hire about 150.
