Bulgarian participants in the International Olympiad in Informatics in Tehran won one gold and three bronze medals. We are proud that two of the champions are Telerik Academy School students.
Encho Mishinev,12 grader in “Atanas Radev" High School of Mathematics in Yambol, won the gold medal. Bronze medals were awarded to Telerik Academy School alumni Victor Terziev - 11 grader in Sofia High School of Mathematics, Radoslav Dimitrov - 10 grader in "Acad. K. Popov" High School of Mathematics in Plovdiv and Peter Nyagolov – 10 grader in “Baba Tonka” High School of Mathematics in Ruse.
Thus, Bulgaria ranks among the top five countries in the world with over 100 medals in Informatics - 25 gold, 41 silver and 34 bronze. As a result of the brilliant performance of our national team, Bulgaria now ranks 6th in medals won at the International Olympiad in Informatics.
