Realizing his work was no longer a positive and challenging experience and driven by his passion for technology, Iliyan decided to make a change. He applied to Telerik Academy Alpha to become a sought-after software developer.
Alexander Georgiev is a passionate gamer who used to work in the gaming industry, coaching others and commenting on tournaments. At the age of 23 and with no previous programming experience, Alexander joined Telerik Academy Alpha in order to pursue a new career - this time in IT. Just a month after successfully completing the program, he joined Experian as a Junior Software Developer.

Telerik Academy Alpha is an-depth practical training for a successful career start in IT. Our number one goal with every Alpha program and cohort is to prepare our students to land their first jobs in IT and help leading tech companies grow and scale by sourcing master junior talent.
Valentin graduated from Coventry University with a degree in Sports Therapy, eager to make a positive impact. After starting his practice, he realized, however, this was not his true calling. So, Valentin decided to make a total career change, which brought him to Telerik Academy. He successfully completed the Alpha JavaScript program and shortly after that kickstarted his IT career at Tick42.
Aged 21 and studying at university, Krasimir Etov decided to join Telerik Academy Alpha .NET to attain the coding and soft skills companies demand and land his first job in IT. Less than a month after graduating from the program, he jumpstarted his career as a Junior Software Developer at Fourth – a leading provider of cloud-based forecasting and cost control software for the hospitality industry and a Telerik Academy partner.

Usually starting from scratch. Although such a career transformation seems risky, the following stories of 3 software engineers prove otherwise. All three of them are graduates of Telerik Academy Alpha.
Alexandra Mechkova, our CEO shares that the courses should not be seen as a substitute but rather as a supplement to university education: "While at university one can go deep into theory, we add practice, work in a real environment, direct connection with employers, development of key personal and communication skills. We are often the transition from formal education to business."

Telerik Academy announced the admissions for the new edition of Alpha C# - the 6-month program anyone can join to start an IT career regardless of their experience and programming knowledge. Admission is open until February 1, 2023, and no previous coding experience is necessary - it is essential for applicants to be motivated and able to commit to learning.
Telerik Academy offers its employees a mental and physical health program. At the end of 2021, the overall program was rated by employees at 4.8 out of 5. Based on their performance, employees also have the opportunity to acquire shares in the company and an annual bonus based on their performance.
