How cool would it be to join an organization devoted to lifelong upskilling and learning?

We are looking for a Student Success Coach to support our software engineering and QA students during their 6-month education in Telerik Academy, and train them in polishing their soft skills. In this role, you will be facilitating key sessions and providing after-class mentorship to learners to help them cope successfully with the challenges of teamwork and the intensity of the training.

You will equip our students with a wholistic skillset for the real-life work environment and help them move successfully into their first technical role after graduation. Thus, you will have maximum impact on the professional development of hundreds of people a year, as well as on the local IT industry.

What you will be doing:

  • Deliver content that supports the growth and development of our students;

  • Coach students individually and in groups, and guide them on their learning progress with the Alpha program;

  • Facilitate an internal mentorship program that connects Telerik Academy alumni with current students to promote knowledge-sharing and building of a strong network.

How this role can contribute to your development:

  • This might be an interesting professional challenge for you if you’re looking to shift from a standard lecturer’s role into a more encompassing one, where you work with learners on a long-term basis and are able to follow-up on their successes.

  • You will gain deeper understanding of the latest teaching best practices, and how a whole learning program is setup and implemented according to them.

  • Enjoy a thoughtful benefits program that includes:

  • 25 days paid leave a year and an additional day off for your birthday
  • Flexible working hours, work-from-home policy, and an entirely remote work during the pandemic

  • Access to Employee Wellbeing program focused on mental health and various supportive activities

  • Additional health insurance
  • Ongoing investment in your development through a rich selection of trainings, books and learning materials (incl. access to reputable outlets, a shared library, access to Pluralsight, Udemy, etc.)

  • And more to discover

What will make you successful in this role:

  • 2+ years of work experience in a related field (Learning & Development, Psychology, Instructional Design, Education, etc.);

  • Experience in creating and/or delivering programs to develop self-leadership and self-management capabilities through formal and informal methods;

  • Demonstrated ability to emphasize and communicate with learners;

  • Strong facilitation skills;

  • Excellent English and Bulgarian language skills – spoken and written.
